In a world where countless young people are facing harsh realities—whether it’s poverty, neglect, trafficking, or lack of access to education—God’s Love emerges as a new force for good. Based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, this non-profit initiative is designed to uplift teens and at-risk youth by offering them not just hope, but real, tangible resources that can change their lives.
Founded by Victoria Maria Carrera, a nurse, fitness expert, and passionate humanitarian, God’s Love is more than just a name—it’s a mission rooted in compassion, healing, and empowerment. “This project comes from the deepest part of my heart,” says Victoria. “It’s about showing these kids that they are loved, seen, and capable of achieving greatness.”
A Multi-Dimensional Approach to Empowerment

God’s Love focuses on bridging critical gaps that many young people face when trying to become independent and successful:
- Job Readiness: Teens will be trained in job search techniques, resume writing, and workplace skills to help them secure meaningful employment.
- Educational Support: From tutoring to GED prep, the organization will provide educational resources tailored to each individual’s needs.
- Life Skills Training: Youth will learn essential life tasks—budgeting, cooking, conflict resolution, and self-care—to prepare for adulthood.
- Healing and Protection: One of the most urgent missions of God’s Love is to serve as a safe haven for victims of human trafficking, providing trauma-informed care, legal guidance, and a path toward healing.
A Founder Fueled by Faith and Experience
Victoria’s journey began at the age of 6 when she fell in love with exercise. By 18, she was already working as a fitness instructor and manager, helping people transform their bodies and minds. But her impact didn’t stop there.
Now a licensed nurse, she’s combining her two passions—health and fitness—to create a powerful, holistic approach to healing. Her online platform merges nursing and wellness, making expert care accessible to people everywhere. “Health is not one-dimensional,” Victoria says. “We need to care for the mind, body, and soul.”
Her motivation comes from her own difficult past. “I survived a lot growing up,” she shares. “That survival turned into strength, and now it’s time to use it to help others survive and thrive.”
Defining Success
For Victoria, success isn’t measured by wealth or status, but by resilience. “Success means not giving up, no matter what. Even when life knocks you down, you get back up—and then help others up too.”
God’s Love is not just a nonprofit. It’s a promise—to the youth of Albuquerque and beyond—that they are not forgotten, that healing is possible, and that love can build the future they deserve.
